VULCANS

CIRCUITS
- The red LED's light up indicating the traffic light is red (all vehicles stop).
- If RFID detects the rescue vehicles then only the sound sensor will be functioning.
- Once sound sensor detects the siren's frequency, ALL LED (green light) will light up indicating that there is rescue vehicles coming and the timer will started.
- After the timer ends, the traffic will turn back to its normal circulation.
LIMITATIONS
- Supposedly, our idea is to change from red to yellow and increase the time if its initial is yellow and green (like our FSM) however due to our limited time, we can only code for one condition which means red will turn to green and vice versa.
- We are suppose to use CCS Compiler for the RFID but we are not be able to finish it, so we continue using the arduino.
- Range for RFID is too low which is only 30mm so it would be better if we use ultra high RFID but the cost will be higher.
- We supposed to put one component (eg: LED-lights up) to display it when the RFID detects the presence of rescue vehicle.
- We are not saying the sound sensor is the best choice as the time for it to detect depends on the frequency itself. The higher the frequency, the less time taken for sound sensor.
